ARMSTRONG RESIDENCE

Spanish contemporary remodel, Point Loma

The Armstrongs had a lovely 1940's era one-story cottage, complete with white siding, black shutters and a picket fence.  However, they really wanted a larger, two-story home that was more contemporary.  A challenging (and rewarding!) transformation...

With two roof decks, the second story addition allows the family to enjoy views of downtown San Diego from the front, and Mission Bay from the back - the perfect go-to spot for watching the fireworks!

Project Data:

  • 2,272 existing SF (on first floor) + 1,085 new SF (second floor)

  • Raised ceiling in great room

  • Second story addition: two bedrooms, two baths, recreation room, access to two roof decks
